Did Foxpop ever draw Carmelita in his style? Asking for a friend

FoxPOP because that’s the sound the feet make slipping the shoe.

I searched and could find nothing. I wanted to grind out some AIslop to see if I could get an approximation of it, only to learn that moving Stable Diffusion onto a backup drive broke it and when I try to reinstall I get permissions errors. I tried the free online image generators I know of but none of them I have tried so far seems to know either the character or the artist.

I think it has the potential to be a very cute and aesthetically pleasing juxtaposition, but technology is not cooperating today. Sorry man.

This info is a couple of years out of date but back in the SD1.5 days I used to get authentic-looking results (if you don't mind low detail count, an occasional extra pupil, extra ears etc), reminiscent of fox-pop's less detailed sketches by using one of fluffyrock builds. Surely modern models have caught up by now. At least they get limbs right more often these days. Trying it today, it does seem to get the gist of the artist's facial expressions and the artstyle when trying for headshots.
Should try it with a modern model some time. However Fox-pop is heavily anti-AI so hopefully his art has been excluded from the training data.

Sounds like a loonix thing, despite the gross mismanagement windows is still more user-friendly. You could try feeding the errors to chatbots and seeing what they suggest. Probably another chmod chown 777 abracadabra ritual.

Broken file permissions is the de facto standard on linux

I think the crux of the problem is that the drive where I put it for storage is formatted NTFS, because I also needed to back up stuff from a Windows partition, and it was convenient for me to be able to mount the entire volume and view it and work with it from Windows also. NTFS file permissions and UN*X file permissions don't play nicely together, and this is one of the ways in which that manifests.

This is ragebait but I will engage with it regardless.

I always thought of art as a means of communication, and that requires it to originate in one conscious mind, intended for another conscious mind. When I click the orange button the software is not communicating with me. It doesn't have a message for me. It makes an arrangement of pixels, sometimes one pleasing to my eye, sometimes not. I can generate a large number of them and sort through them, selecting the ones I think are better than the others. That isn't art. I can post the image here, but that isn't art either, any more than posting a well-known meme picture or video. I could post the video of the dancing cartoon banana singing "Peanut Butter Jelly Time," but I didn't make the video. I didn't write or record the song. I didn't create the animation. I'm just some guy on the Internet copying and pasting. I could copy and paste Edvard Munch's "The Scream" here. I'm just meme-ing. I didn't paint the picture, even if I use it to communicate. These are, of course, just my opinions.
Are you Havana good night, my fellow foobers?
